Updates

Bad news people! I am sorry to let you all know that there won’t be a Chaos and Order book out this week, there won’t even be a Chaos and Order series. After some time thinking about it over the weekend and talking with some people I decided to scrap this series. I am just not happy with the state of this final draft (Nor was I happy with the last two) the story just isn’t clicking how I wanted it to. I planned for it to be a good entry point for people, but it always somehow ended up being another Rise of the Empire.

I know that some people would like that but I am not happy with it. Every one of my series has something unique about it and Chaos and Order was just like another RotE book. I know that you are disappointed, trust me I am too. I’ve spent the last couple of months on this book and realizing that it didn’t work how I wanted wrecked me. I lost a lot of time on trying to make the book good, time that I could’ve spent on something else, and that is the time that I can’t get back. But I would much rather scrap a series than release something that isn’t up to the my standard, because I feel like I have improved a lot in my writing since Olympus, and this book just felt like a step back.

While I am scraping this series, I am not going to be scrapping the story. I’ve decided to expand on the Oxylus’ character story in the next Universe on Fire book (Which is scheduled for an edit on October 19) and incorporate this story there. It made sense since all the things that I wanted to explore in Chaos and Order were first introduced in Universe on Fire. Once again, I am sorry for this, but I am not comfortable with just writing a three books series that doesn’t introduce some new component and that is just a rehashing of the old. While I do write for a living, I am not trying to extend my series and books indefinitely, the overall story has an end and each series and book is a step toward that end.

Hopefully you won’t hold this against me too much.

New Release, Tower of Power book 4

Hello!

The next book in the Tower of Power series is now out on Amazon.

This book was a bit harder to write, simply because it is an in-between book. I had to scrap the first few drafts completely because by the end of the book it seemed like nothing happened. But, as of next book is where the things will really start happening.

In other news, here is my rough schedule for the future releases:

April — Tower of Power book 5

June — Chaos and Order series book 1

September — Universe on Fire book 4

November/December — Eternal Path book 3

I might have another book released in between these ones, since I have a webserial currently running on Royal Road. I don’t know exactly when, but once I have enough chapters for a book, I’ll release that as well.

Universe on Fire book 3 is out!

Hello!

Just wanted to let you know that Universe on Fire book 3 - Magic Stars is now out and available on Amazon.

The next book in Universe on Fire series should be out around the Fall of next year.

Also, I have a webserial currently ongoing on Royal Road, with 57 chapters published so far, at around a bit over 100k words. I publish new chapters 5 times a week, and you can read it there for free. The story is a mix between LitRPG and Cultivation, and follows two main characters at the start with two more added later. It isn’t connected to my other works, and if you liked Tower of Power you will probably like this one as well.

Rise of the Empire book 12 is out!

The last book in the Rise of the Empire series is now out on amazon!

I have a few more updates. For those of you who are unaware, Tower of Power book 3 is out on audible!

Also, Universe on Fire book 3 should be out in a few weeks, as soon as I get the last revision done.

And to celebrate the final book of Rise of the Empire series, starting November 28, I've put the first three books of Rise of the Empire on a free promotion! Along with the first volumes in every other of my series! So if you haven't yet checked out my other series now is the opportunity! And if you have friends that you want to get into these books let them know!

This promotion will last until November 30.

In other news, the next Tower of Power book should be out on kindle around the first or second week of February, and on audible a few months after that. Book five of Tower of Power series should then be out in April, and the next Universe on Fire book in June.

I am planning to have a new series (Chaos and Order) out around late October or early November.

New Release - Tower of Power book 3

Hi all!

The next book in the Tower of Power series - The Grand Tournament is now out and available on Amazon! With the release of this book, we are officially back on the schedule. Next up is the final book in Rise of the Empire series around the end of September, and after that Universe on Fire book 3 end of November. I’m planning to have the Tower of Power book 4 ready for the last week of January next year. Hopefully there won’t be any unforeseen circumstances that force me to delay something.

Also the Audiobook for the Tower of Power book 3 should be out in a couple of months.

New Release and Quick Update

Hello!

The Eternal Path book 2 is now out on amazon!

I never intended for there to be such a large gap between the releases of book 1 and 2, but things happen and plans change I suppose. Hopefully you will not need to wait as long for the third book (currently I plan on releasing it in the first quarter of 2020).

Now for a quick update, first; the Tower of Power book 2 is now available on audible.

And second; I have the updated schedule for book releases:

I took a short break after the last book, so that is why there was a bit of a longer period without any book releases. I am now back on track and you will see more regular releases.

I don’t have any big updates for you now, I am currently working on the book 2 in the Eternal Path series which should be out in a few weeks around the beginning of March. After that I will be focusing on the final book in Rise of the Empire series which will be out around the end of May. So the current schedule is like this:

Rise of the Empire book 11

Hello all!

The next to last Rise of the Empire book is out! We are so close to the end!

A few of you have asked me if there will be a sequel series, and I just wanted to let you know my plans. After Rise of the Empire ends, there will be a direct sequel trilogy which will focus on three characters from RotE, and will serve as an introduction into the multiverse stuff. As I have already said, all my books take place in the same multiverse, and some characters crossover. So far the only characters that have appeared in all of the books are from RotE, and this trilogy will explain a bit more how that happened.

Once again, if you don't read any other series, you will not be missing anything. Characters that have currently crossed over are not at the same point in time as in their origin series, and I will always provide explanations where needed. And the ending of RotE will close the arc of the Empire.

Also, I think that now is a good time to let you know about the timeline of the multiverse so that you know in which order the events take place.

Timeline:

  1. -Rise of the Empire

  2. -Chaos and Order trilogy (Coming soon!)

  3. -Universe on Fire

  4. -Eternal Path

  5. -Tower of Power

I will be revealing a lot more about the multiverse after the end of Rise of the Empire series, which will be at the end of April.

Oh, one last thing. The next Tower of Power book will be out around the first week of February, after that around the first week of March is the Eternal Path book 2.

Universe on Fire book 2

Hello all!

Universe on Fire book 2 is finally here and I hope that you like it!

I've been wanting to reveal something about my books for a while now, and I've been waiting for the right moment. Originally I was going to let you all know about this after I finished Rise of the Empire series, but I think that now is a good time to at least let you in on a few things. Some of you have already figured this out, and sent me emails asking questions, so here it goes:

All of my series take place inside the same multiverse. Each series is in its own universe, and each follows its own characters and story, but a few characters have already crossed over between the series. Now, I want you to know that it is not required for you to read every series in order to understand what is happening, every series stands on its own without you needing to read something else to understand what is going on. And my series cross many genres, you don't need to read a genre you don't like just so that you would get what is happening in the series that you do read. But for you who are reading all of them or more than one, there are a few Easter eggs and insights into what might come in the future. I plan on revealing more about this multiverse as the stories in these series continue, and everything that is relevant will be explained in every series, so you don't need to feel pressured to read the other ones. I've also commissioned some artwork to better illustrate how the multiverse works, and I will be revealing more about it on my facebook page and my blog once that is finished. For now, you should just know that every series takes place at a different point in time (for now) and I will be releasing a time-line of the events on my website some time in the future, for those of you who are interested.

Once again, I want you to know that you will not be missing anything if you don't read any other series. Characters that have currently crossed over are not at the same point in time as in their origin series, and so they are a mystery even to those who recognize them.

Update and a new book!

Hello!

Well, I have a little update for you today, and a surprise! I've just released a new book, called Guild Master, it is an LitRPG. I have been writing this book for a while now, in between my other series, ever since I started reading the genre. For those of you unfamiliar with the genre, LitRPG stands for Literary Role Playing Game. In other words the rules of the book world are similar to those of an RPG's. The characters gain experience and level up gaining new abilities and powers. Guild Master is set in a fantasy world, only one where rules resemble those of an RPG.

As I said, this book is something that I have written in between the other series, and it will remain so. The other series will still come out on schedule. And I have a small update to the schedule. I have decided to swap the Universe on Fire book 2 and Eternal Path book 2, meaning that the next book to come out will be the Universe on Fire book 2, and it will be out in late october/early November. I just need a bit more time to get the Eternal Path book 2 right, so it will be out in late February/Early March.

New release - RotE 10

Hello,

Just wanted to let you all know that Rise of the Empire book 10 - Nomad Fleet is now out and available on Amazon.

And I've also made all RotE books available in paperback, you might need to search for them (it takes a bit for Amazon to link the store pages).

With this book the Rise of the Empire series is entering its last arc, with the finale being book 12. It's been a lot of fun writing this series, I've had this ending in my head almost since book 2, and it feels good to finally get close to the end. Hopefully you will like it.

A few of you had asked me if there will be a sequel series, and I don't really want to reveal a lot now and spoil the ending. Suffice to say that the Rise of the Empire ending will finish the story started in book 1. Rise of the Empire will have an end.

The schedule for the next few months is currently like this:

Universe on Fire book 2 - Early 2019

New Release

Hi all,

I'm happy to let you know that Broken Stars - Universe on Fire book 1 is now out and available on Amazon. It is a new series set in a new universe, and it is a sci-fi with some fantasy elements, I wouldn't really call it space fantasy but it is close. It does have a somewhat more sci-fi tone. If you enjoy my Rise of the Empire series then you will like this one as well.

Also, I have some updates concerning my schedule. I've been forced to shuffle the release dates around a bit, so the schedule for now looks something like this:

  • Rise of the Empire book 10 - End of July
  • Eternal Path book 2 - Mid October
  • Rise of the Empire book 11 - December
  • Universe on Fire book 2 - March 2019
  • Rise of the Empire book 12 - June 2019

Hopefully there won't be much shuffling this time around.

Conquest and updates

Hello

Conquest book 9 in Rise of the Empire series is now out and available on Amazon.

Next book in RotE will probably be out around May 2018, I want to get the first book in one more new series out before book 10. Which will be out around late February or early March. The new series will either be an urban fantasy novel or a new science fiction space opera, haven't decided yet.

So for now my schedule looks something like this:

  • February/March - book 1 in a new series
  • Late May - Rise of the Empire book 10
  • September - Eternal Path book 2
  • December - Rise of the Empire book 11

I might change that a bit, but I doubt it. The plan is still for Rise of the Empire to end with book 12, but I might need one more book to wrap everything up, I'll know for sure when I hit book 11. I have the story outlined to the end, but I always like to leave myself room for new ideas, we'll see.

Eternal Soul

Hi all,

Well, Eternal Soul is now out and available on Amazon. It is the first book in a new fantasy series that follows three main characters, it is my attempt at a hybrid between eastern and western fantasy. And I've been working on it for a long time. I had a full draft actually finished at one point, before scraping more than half of it and rewriting it as I just didn't like where I ended up with the story. This version I am much more comfortable with, hopefully you'll like it too. I've made the prologue and the first three chapters available for free on my website so you can check them out if you are debating whether this is something for you. As I've said before, next up is Rise of the Empire book 9 - Conquest. Which will be out in December. And I'm still on schedule to finish the series in about four more books.

In other news, I am currently mapping out another new series. This one an urban fantasy series that will deal with a world where magic suddenly came back and how the people of that new world deal with it. And I have another sci-fi space opera idea that I've been trying to get my mind around. I might start that one once I finish with Rise of the Empire, or I might get it out before depending on how well I manage to plot it out.

New Release and other stuff.

Hand of the Empire is now out and available on Amazon. Hopefully you'll like it.

Writing this one had been a much different experience, since I was experimenting with my writing schedule. I attempted to write three books at the same time. It didn't go as well as I had hoped. After RotE book 7 I started working on the Eternal Soul (the first in a new fantasy series) with Hand of the Empire and book 9 of RotE on the side. By the end of March I had finished the draft for the Eternal Soul and about 30% of Hand of the Empire and maybe 15% of book 9. But as I was doing early revisions of Eternal Soul I realized that I didn't really like it, so I ended up scraping more than 80% of it. By then I was already behind my schedule so I decided to switch to Hand of the Empire as my main focus and finish it first, which I did by the end of May. Then when I was ready to send it to my editor I learned that he had sadly passed away just a few days before I sent him a message, and I started looking for a new editor. Finding someone who I was comfortable with on such short notice was very hard, but eventually I managed and here it is, sorry that it took longer than I said.

Here is my schedule for the next few releases (hopefully I'll manage to keep to it) :

  1. Eternal Soul - October 2017

  2. Rise of the Empire 9 - December 2017

  3. Untitled urban fantasy book - February 2018

  4. Rise of the Empire 10 - May 2018

I might switched 3 and 4 depending on how I feel after Eternal Soul. I've been writing Rise of the Empire for three years straight now, so I want a bit of a change before finishing it, but in any case the end of the series is close, I might even get it done in 2018. Here is a small sneak peek at the first two chapters of Eternal Soul.

New release - What War Had Wrought

What War Had Wrought book 7 in the Rise of the Empire series is out on Amazon kindle

This book is the last book in what I like to call the second arc of the series. And after this one the story slowly moves into the last arc.
The next book in the series-Hand of the Empire, will serve as a bridge between the second and the last arc.

I plan on having Hand of the Empire out by April or May, but before the next book in the Rise of the Empire series, I plan on releasing the first book in a new fantasy series that I've been writing for a while. Working title is Eternal Soul, I'll see if that changes or not. I don't won't to give too much away, you can expect it by the end of March or early April.

Book 7 update

My original plan had been to have book 7 out by the end of the year, sadly that didn't happen. It took me a bit longer than I expected.
Book 7 - What War Had Wrought - will be out in mid-January. It is finished so there won't be any more unforeseen delays, it just needs to be edited, hopefully there won't be too much for me to fix after I get it back

And well, this one was a bit harder to write. I had to rewrite almost an entire third of the book, as I didn't like where some of the characters ended up. The core of the story is fixed, I know where we need to go to reach the end but I am keeping my options open for the road I take to get there.

With this book the end of the series is finally in sight. By my math I will need another six or maybe seven books to finish the story.

As for the next one, I plan on having book 7 finished by the end of the year, probably to be released late December or early January.

Inheritance is out!

I am happy to announce that Inheritance is now out and available on Amazon kindle!

Inheritance begins the next to last arc of the Rise of the Empire series. I don't yet know how many books it will take me to tell the rest of the story, but we are close to the middle point.

Well, now that this one is done I can start on the next one (after a short vacation). My plan is to get two more books out by the end of the year, one in the fall and the other one in winter. And if everything goes according to plan, get four books out in 2017. Also I need to start paying attention to my other projects, I have six other books in various stages of completion. Some have a few chapters written, others are half-way finished. But for now the Rise of the Empire is a priority!
